Introduction

Razi Drug Research Center (RDRC) received the license from the related Ministry on 4th of February 2000 by the attempts of professor Masoud Mahmoodian (head of pharmacology department of medicine faculty at that time), and officially started its activity. The main goal of the research center foundation is to help the progress of pharmaceutical sciences and improvement of the ranking of Iran university of medical sciences. Increasing enthusiasm among students in the research field, recruitment and supporting researchers in doing basic and practical research, improving the research and education methods and cooperation with industries for practical research to solve the present problems in the country are other important goals of Razi Drug Research Center.
